The accounting firm of Michael L. Harrow, CPA has been in business in Rohnert Park since September of 2001.
Before that, Mike worked for the City of Rohnert Park from 1980 – 2000 and was the Rohnert Park Finance Director/City Treasurer from 1985 – 2000. Mike was in charge of the city’s twelve person Finance Department and was responsible for the following municipal activities: Investments, Cash Flow Management, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Utility Billing, Business Licensing, Animal Licensing, Purchasing/Special Projects, IT, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Financial Projections, Debt Management, Risk Management, Redevelopment Agency (accounting, reporting and investments). In 1984-85, Mike was instrumental in transitioning the city from manual accounting systems to a computerized accounting solution.
Mike enjoyed working for the City of Rohnert Park but decided to retire in 2000 in order to start his CPA practice.
Mike has over thirty years of experience in preparing client tax returns. Since he is the only CPA in the firm, clients always know who is working on their particular project. This continuity saves the client time and money in fees paid.
